Ford Visos
Supercar from the noughties

In 2003 Ford showcased the "Visos" which Google translate identifies as Lithuanian in origin and means "all"? However, in latin it is an inflection of vīsus (accusative masculine plural), which means "video" or "I see", a reference to the main concept features and the collaborative work it done with corporate mega-giant Sony.

It had a 3 litre, 6 cyclinder engine producing 350 bhp and 400 Nm of torque which would of propelled it to a 0-60 time of around 4.8 seconds.

It's Clarkson, Hammond, May Vs Evans

News out yesterday that Amazon prime has signed Britain's mighty trio of Clarkson, Hammond, May which is now playing out as I anticipated, a re-born Top Gear post CHM years versus CHM in a new guise, battling for viewers ratings. However CHM have gone futuristic with their Amazon deal which means it's not a straight shoot-out of TV ratings which I am not happy with to be truthful, as much as I love old Top Gear I won't pay the £79 Amazon prime annual subscription. Let's see what the ginger-ninja has to offer on brand new Top Gear? One thing is guaranteed is that we are now entering an era of two great motor shows...when has there ever been an issue when Clarkson throws a Mike Tyson esque left hook?

PSC Motors hybrid hypercar

PSC Motors revealed back in May of this year a 1700bhp plug-in hybrid hypercar. The Las Vegas-based US firm wants to aim for the heavyweights such as McLaren and Koenigsegg, throwing counter punches with a claim of 0-62mph sprint time around the 2.8sec.

Well, all the team at "theworldofhyper-cars" wish PSC motors the very best in producing a heavyweight champion, however I recommend that they read the "hyper car pillars" from our very first posts because toppling the champs such as the P1 and LaFerrari takes more than a good sprint time! Stay tuned for 2016 when its released.

Hyper Car Beginners

I wonder what major car manufacturers who you would not normally associate with "Hyper Cars" has an interesting hyper car concept available to view when using their name and hyper car in the search term? I also wondered which auto manufacturer I would like to see release a hyper car? I must admit I would like to see a BMW hyper car predominantly because I think this is a great company who is on the verge of being very cool. No one can deny that the i8 is a cool car so why not a hyper car? They are also very innovative so a hyper car would bring another aspect to their impressive brand.

What auto manufacturer would you like to see manufacture a hyper car that is not normally associated with this type of vehicle? Mercedes, Lotus, Alfa Romeo?
