Rivalry
All great achievements in this world are born from the desire to be the best and the relentless pursuit to beat your rival. Therefore, extraordinary achievements are only possible with a rival, without a rival, someone pushing you to the brink of greatness you achieve mediocrity.
Rivalry, it contributes to greatness.
Horacio Pagani
Horacio Pagani was born on 10th November 1955, of Argentinian descent he is the founder of one of the most extraordinary auto manufacturers in the world, Pagani Automobili based in San Cesario sul Panaro, near Modena, Italy.
Horacio Pagani moved to Italy in 1983 with his new bride with the intent of becoming a car designer and builder. Horacio’s dream did not come to fruition straight away, he had numerous odd jobs whilst living in a tent at a camp site. However, one of these low paid jobs was at Lamborghini and his drive and passion enabled him to work his way up through Lamborghini, eventually designing moulds and manufacturing body parts for the Countach Evoluzione, without the use of an autoclave.
During his time at Lamborghini he tried to persuade the company to buy an autoclave so they could produce carbon parts for the Evoluzione. Lamborghini refused, a decision based upon their rivals Ferrari not having an autoclave at the time. This did not stop Horacio, he borrowed the money necessary to buy his own autoclave late in 1987 and in 1991 he left Lamborghini and founded his own company, “Modena Designs”.
Pagani Automobili was founded by Pagani in 1992, producing the epic Zonda and the more recent Huayra. Horacio Pagani is an extraordinary success story built upon hardwork and a passion to design and build cars and to note he done it all on the door step of two of the biggest names in the sports car world, Lamborghini and Ferrari.
“Compared with him and the intensity with which he works, almost every other human is guilty of sloth.” – Robert Cumberford (Automotive Design Editor).

It's My Blog!
Please let me know your hyper/supercar "for life" and "for a day"?
That's right, a post with nothing to do with Hyper cars, the benefit of having your own blog and I am sure it is appreciated?!? However, to appease my mass following I would say that the beautiful lady on the left is the one I would want for life (Zonda R, 911) and the beautiful lady on the right is the one I would want for one night (AML Vanquish, 288 GTO).
Please let me know your hyper/supercar "for life" and "for a day"?
